Jim Rennie steps down as CEO from Child Impact and moves into the role of VP of Special Projects. Dr. Tom Evans steps in as CEO of Child Impact International and will oversee upcoming projects in the areas of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Zambia.
The Child Impact International board is very excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Tom Evans as the new CEO. Dr. Tom L. Evans is excited to join the team at Child Impact International as CEO beginning in August. Tom states, “God has called each of us to make a difference in this world. Investing in a child can change the trajectory of their entire life. Child Impact delivers hope and a brighter future.” Tom would like to affirm the visionary leadership of the current CEO, Jim Rennie, and the Child Impact team, along with the board of directors. As he prepares to assume leadership responsibilities beginning in August, please lift their family and the growing and life-changing ministry of Child Impact International in prayer.

Here is an update on the current situation, our work, and the impact of the pandemic in the countries we serve, our schools, and what our strategies are. We are faced with rapid changes that require us to make decisions quickly and to be flexible. Changes that may force us to face how some of our programs operate and the need to pivot.
We have implemented an emergency sponsorship procedure to continue our focus on the children. Operating in six countries during this crisis is not easy, but our staff is working hard to ensure the best for the more than three thousand children we serve.
