Adventist School In Khurda

During Child Impact International’s CEO Jim Rennie’s visit to Khurda, he flew into the town of Bhubaneswar that is known for its ancient, mysterious temples that dot the city’s landcape by the hundreds.. The city is located on the upper east coast of India. It was Jim’s first time and he was very excited to visit a new place.

CEO Jim Rennie had the privilege of visiting one of the Adventist schools where Child Impact supports 150 children through sponsors in the United States. The Adventist school at Khurda has almost 1,200 students consisting of both boarders and day students and it is run very efficiently by Mr. Kumar, the principal, and his staff.

Most of the students are from non-Christian backgrounds and are not only getting a good academic training, but most importantly are being introduced to Jesus. In speaking with them, Jim discovered that they all have grand aspirations for their futures and are very grateful to their sponsors.

Child Impact thanks you for the difference you are making in the lives of these children. Please continue to pray for them and their families that they will know the new life that comes from experiencing Jesus.
