At Child Impact International, we believe every girl deserves to live free from fear, exploitation, and abuse. Our new Rescue a Girl initiative is a bold effort to pull girls out of human trafficking or prevent them from ever falling into it—and aims to provide them with everything they need to begin a new, hope-filled life.
How Rescue Works
- Our team of local leaders leverage their extensive network to identify girls across the country who are highly vulnerable to exploitation or have already experienced tragedy. Our team acts swiftly to remove them from harmful situations as quickly as possible.
- Upon arrival, the school provides comprehensive medical care and emotional support. As girls build trust with our dedicated staff, it’s common for more stories of abuse and trauma to emerge, allowing for deeper healing.
- Once the girl you’ve helped rescue arrives on campus, we’ll send you her photo and details on how to connect with her through your sponsorship portal. We encourage you to display her photo prominently as a reminder to pray for her and send her encouraging messages.
This year, generous donors funded a second girls dormitory at Riverside Farm Institute, Child Impact sponsored school, to expand our ability to serve more vulnerable girls. In September, 35 girls will move into the dorm. In January, 65 more girls will move into the dorm.
Many of these rescued girls will only arrive with the clothes they are wearing and very few personal belongings. With your support, we will give them everything they need to start the school year right.
