Honoring – Andris Christopher Evans
March 16, 2009 – April 13, 2023
From the time he was a baby, Andris grew up in an orphanage in Latvia (near the border of Russia). Tom (CEO of Child Impact) and Mara Evans hosted Andris and his older brother Daniel in their home beginning in 2014. Their dream to be part of a family was realized when they were adopted.
Andris Christopher Evans lost his battle with leukemia at the young age of 14 after two relapses. Andris was a remarkable young man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His courage, strength, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity were an inspiration to us all.
In memory of Andris, the Evans family and Child Impact International have set up the Andris Evans Memorial Orphan Fund. This fund is focused on meeting the needs of orphans, with an emphasis on new projects to assist the most vulnerable. By donating to this fund, you will be helping other children like Andris find the support they need to succeed in this life and make plans for eternity with Jesus.
Andris had a dream to make a difference in the lives of other orphans. He even wanted to adopt when he grew up. With your help, we can make his dream a reality!
