Ashok is a young man who is ready and willing to do any work assigned to him. He is intelligent and quickly grasps new concepts presented to him in class. He is an only child whose father works as a mason. Unfortunately, his mother suffers from health issues that prevent her from continuously working but when she is in a better state, she works as a cook in a small hotel. His parents do not want Ashok to follow in their footsteps and have a difficult life so they hope that he will be able to receive an education.
