Operation Child Rescue 2023 Major Building Fund

In April, Child Impact spent a week in the jungles of Colombia. Fundacion Vida Sana Redension has been working in the Amazonía region, Vaupes, since 2020 reaching the unreached. During their community outreach working with indigenous communities, they learned of the high rates of sexual abuse girls experience.

To care for girls who have been abused and help them escape their situation, Child Impact and Vida Sana have started an Operation Child Rescue project together in the Amazon.

We have started by renting a home in Vaupes which serves as a launching base for missionaries and social workers. Children who are in need of rescue stay here briefly before relocating to the campus of Vida Sana, where they receive professional counseling and an opportunity to attend school. The staff at Vida Sana also provides childcare for girls who come with babies. Already, eight children have been rescued from their abuses and are experiencing holistic healing.

Together, we can expand the capacity of our services to rescue many more girls who are being abused. Help us build a dormitory at Fundación Vida Sana Redension in Colombia, which will provide a safe place for rescued children. Our dream is to purchase land and build a permanent rescue and school campus in the Amazon to provide long-term support and education to prevent abuse. This center will educate girls in their own community and hopefully prevent child sexual exploitation before it begins.

Free Clinic Run by Child Impact Graduate

Doctor caring for patient.

Dr. Swamidas operates a free clinic in Kotapalli, India, that makes quality health care available for people who have historically not had access. He takes a holistic approach to healthcare and ensures his patients eat a proper diet in addition to routine medical care. To support his work of offering free healthcare to the community, Dr. Swamidas works three nights a week in a local hospital. His incredible work can be traced back to sponsorship.

Dr. Swamidas grew up in the Elim Home, a Child Impact children’s home in Hyderabad. Access to higher education empowered him to receive training that allows him to serve thousands of people across India. Child Impact is raising funds to build a clinic that will allow Dr. Swamidas the opportunity to serve even more people who don’t have access to healthcare. We have already raised 80% of the funding and only lack an additional $25,000 to complete this exciting project! Please consider partnering with us in extending the healing ministry of Christ through Dr. Swamidas in India. To support this life-saving ministry, please give to the Building Fund.

Help us reach our goal of $25,000.
